After graduating a second time in 1993; this time in Physiotherapy, he gained wide experience in the musculoskeletal field at several NHS hospitals in the North of England. He became employed in private practice for a short spell in 1997 where some of his time was spent treating professional athletes. After leaving higher education in 2002, he worked part time for two years as a clinical specialist in musculoskeletal field in a leading NHS hospital and in his spare time, he delivers postgraduate education in acupuncture and related topics throughout the UK. He is currently researching into Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage and Manipulation) and seeking ways to integrate this form of manual therapy into mainstream physiotherapy practice.
